Getting Coordinates

We're nearing the New Year and that can mean so many different things. New beginning. Fresh Start. Redo. Renew. Born again.

”That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’“

Perhaps you forgo the nuance of every New Year or rush in with zeal and fervor. Regardless of how you're approaching the New Year there is a natural newness. If you're turning over a new leaf, preparing to take on a new habit.

I ask you consider praying into choosing a word for the year. God chosen is an absolute must. You could pick it but you won't get nearly as much from it. Spend today and as many days as you need seeking a word of the year.

I do believe God has a fresh word for us daily but there is something unique and special about choosing one for the year. It's like setting a course or choosing a destination.

I promise you'll learn something. Last year my word was press. I also chose several scripture for it as well. If you had a word thus year I'd love to hear how it impacted you below.

Prayer: Thank you Lord that You are always speaking. I'm grateful you have a plan and can give me coordinates to direct me. Would you reveal a word that you want me to focus on this year. A word that You will inspire me, grow me, and change me with? I believe you'll show me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
