The Only Sign Ever Needed

“And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:12
A sign.
This reminds me of Gideon (Read about it in Judges 6:36-40) and myself. I laugh looking back at myself. Here are some details in a personal story I’d like to share with you: many years ago the Lord showed me through a series of events that I would marry my husband. It was painfully obvious that God was orchestrating this match- the Matchmaker of matchmakers, and yet I still required and asked for a sign.
For months, I would ask God to give me a sign that “this” was real and not orchestrated by some completely delusional, heart-sick, coo-coo girl.
“God, please let him where the same color as me.“
“God, please let him see me and smile.“
God, show me this. God, let this be said. I need a sign!!!!
We are so human. We can be given a very clear sign and still need demonstration of proof time and time again. Here is some solid, foundational, formed by the rock and on the Rock truth for you:
Jesus Christ was born as proof and a sign that God so loved you! So loved the world, but soooo loved you! There's no sign needed to demonstrate God’s love for you after Christ’s birth. Why? Because His love for you doesn't depend on you. If you were sinless and spotless He would love you. Or if you were messy, broken, and damaged over and over again, guess what He would still love you.
Don't forget to have a dance party or sing along to your Christmas favorites 😍♥️
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
John 3:16-17 NKJV
Let Jesus's birth be the only sign you ever need to know and believe His unfailing love for you. His love is immovable.
Prayer: Your birth is the only sign or proof I'll ever need to know thatYou love me! I'm going to stop asking You to prove it over and over again. Thank you for loving me this way. For loving me first, before I could even comprehend that I needed it. Your love never fails! Teach me your ways and how to love how You do. In Jesus's name I ask, amen!
The next few days/week will be filled with me sharing a ton of baked or cooked goods. Apologies for lack of variety in advance. Hope you enjoy!

Lemon Crinkle Cookies
These are crazy sticky. Be sure to coat well in powdered sugar before attempting to roll in your hands. Note: they do spread. If you've made them too big and place them too close (that's what I did) you'll have not many cookies but one BIG huge one.
Ingredients
8 ounces frozen cool whip topping thawed
2 eggs
18.25 ounces lemon cake mix 1 package
⅓ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray or line with a silicone baking mat; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together Cool Whip and eggs.
Add the cake mix and mix until combined. The dough will be extremely sticky.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Drop cookie dough by teaspoons into a bowl containing the powdered sugar and roll to coat.
Once the dough is completely coated in powdered sugar, it will be easier to roll into a ball.
Place cookie dough on prepared baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden brown.
Notes
These cookies will flatten out, so be sure to keep each ball of cookie dough to around the size of one teaspoon.

Yes and Amen! Teach me your ways Jesus and how to love like you do! ❤️🙏🏻
