I CORINTHIANS 12

”Remember, it is the same Holy Spirit who distributes,

activates, and operates these different gifts as he

chooses for each believer.“

1 Corinthians 12:11 TPT

The Lord has gifts for all of us. Some of them are just waiting

to be activated. Some of them are being used every day. This

chapter talks about some of the spiritual gifts that God has for

us.

1 Corinthians 12:8-10 mentions 9 gifts:

1. the gift of the word of wisdom.

2. the gift of the word of revelation knowledge

3. the gift of faith

4. gifts of healing.

5. power to work miracles.

6. the gift of prophecy.

7. the gift to discern what the Spirit is speaking.

8. the gift of speaking different kinds of tongues.

9. gift of interpretation of tongues.

All are such an important and needed part of the church. They

are all different functions that keep the body of Christ

together. None of them are greater than the other.

”A diversity is required, for if the body consisted of one

single part, there wouldn’t be a body at all!“

1 Corinthians 12:19 TPT

When I think about all these gifts , I think about the people

around me . I can see some of the spiritual gifts that they are

blessed with . I am so grateful to have people around me that

all have different gifts.

”You are the body of the Anointed One, and each of you

is a unique and vital part of it.“

1 Corinthians 12:27 TPT

Lord, You are so amazing. Thank you for the gifts you have given

us. Give us the boldness to use them. You made us all unique

and we are all a necessary part of the church. We give you all

the glory. In Jesus Amen.
