Bread & Wine

I CORINTHIANS 11
"For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world."
I Corinthians 11:26, 28, 31-32
Partaking in the Lord's supper...
How often can I partake of it?
Is this something I can do with every meal?
Or only with the body?
Is it meaningless to acknowledge and remember Jesus' death on the cross?

Is it worthwhile to acknowledge daily - that my sin was taken- my sin covered in blood and washed white - I am made righteous by the work of the cross - I can enter into the Holy of Holies, into the very presence of God - I can be touched by His glory - Hear His voice - be called by name - referred to as friend - all because of the work of Jesus on the cross.
Is it worthwhile to acknowledge this daily? Or multiple times daily?
Communion means: sharing, fellowship
We share and partake in communion with Christ - where He shares His blood and His broken body for us.
I had the thought, that my favorite part about snow are the trees. The dormant trees are lifeless and dull before the first snow. But when it snows.... what was once lifeless and dull, is covered in thick white snow, making them beautiful and clean. It's not a perfect analogy. The beautiful, priceless blood of Jesus runs red over our sin, washing us, making us white as snow.

I am so thankful for the cross! I am so thankful for the blood of Jesus. I am so grateful for the broken, bloody, and bruised body of Jesus! Thank you for the work of the cross God! Thank you that from the foundation of the world you had planned to save me through the work, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
