Abundance

Ephesians 3
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us.
Ephesians 3:20 KJV
Ephesians is such an amazing book and I truly love this chapter. God has revealed the mystery of christ to Paul and he is sharing that knowledge so we may understand that the gentiles (you and me) are fellow heirs. Meaning we are also children of god and receive the same promises of christ.
As I read this chapter, I am reminded of how amazing God is. It is very difficult for me to choose just one verse to lean into, and really it should be verses 16-20.
These verses remind me that God is bigger than I can comprehend and what he has for me is bigger than I can even imagine. I have a tendency to put God in a box and not think too big. I can be bold when asking for someone else but not for myself.
The last part of verse 20 talks about the power that works in us. That’s the power that healed, delivered, broke chains of bondage, provided, raised the dead, He defeated hell!
God is the giver of life, He is the giver of good gifts.

Do you believe that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think?
PRAYER: Jesus, help me to have an abundance mindset. Help me to embrace the act of gratitude, to give from the heart, to recognize the power of my thoughts, to believe you want to bless me because you love me and want good things for me, to recognize the power of my words and to speak life and blessing, not death and curses. I am worthy of every good gift you have for me. In Jesus name, amen
Amen! May I not limit God on what He wants to do in my life and in the life of those I love, for He is able to do immeasurable more than all in ASK or IMAGINE, under His will.
“In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”

This jumped out at me this morning. Also, I’ve studied and read a lot about the growth mindset bs fixed mindset and how important it is.
But thinking of things in terms of an abundance mindset… wow! That’s an eye opener for me! I love it! Thank you for your words!
